The Hydrocarbon Absorbent Booms absorb petrol, oil, fuel, diesel, and other hydrocarbons. They are hydrophobic. As a result, they repel water. Therefore, they are perfect for drains, lakes, ponds, rivers and other wet environments. They absorb up to 20 times their own weight in liquid.
Oil and fuel absorbents are made from meltblown polypropylene and colour-coded white. They are also flexible and therefore mould to drains, machinery and pallets.
